The Devour Suppressor Cover is specifically designed for use with bolt action rifles and limited firing on semi-automatic firearms. It is not recommended for high rates of fire that exceed an operating temperature over 450°F, such as those encountered with 5.56 short barrel rifles or magazine dumps. For reference, a suppressor reaches 450°F after about 20 consecutive rounds on .308 bolt action rifles or 30 consecutive rounds of 5.56 semi-auto use.
