The Q Boombox SBR is a semi-automatic short-barreled rifle designed for versatility and performance. It features an 8.6 Blackout caliber with a lightweight design weighing in at 5 lbs 8 oz. The rifle boasts a 12-inch barrel made from 416R Stainless Steel, finished with a bead blasted treatment to reduce glare and improve durability. The XL Cherry Bomb muzzle device enhances the overall performance of the firearm.

The Q Boombox SBR is equipped with an AR-15 style ambidextrous safety mechanism and a trigger that has been praised for its smoothness and reliability, weighing between 3.25 to 3.75 lbs. The rifle includes a 2-position collapsible stock that adjusts from 8.375 inches when collapsed to 13 inches when extended, providing ergonomic comfort and easy handling.
