The Smith & Wesson M&P 15 AXE SBR is a highly versatile and reliable rifle designed for peak performance across diverse conditions. Built on the proven M&P15 platform, this lightweight and rugged SBR masterfully blends function and form, making it an ideal choice for various tactical applications. A key feature of the M&P 15 AXE SBR is its Gemtech GVAC® upper, which optimizes suppressed operation by significantly mitigating gas blowback to the shooter’s face, enhancing comfort and maintaining a clear sight picture during sustained fire. The rifle features a 14.5-inch 5.56 NATO barrel with a 1:8 twist and 5R rifling for exceptional accuracy. Crafted from 4150 CMV steel and treated with an Armornite® finish, the barrel offers superior durability and corrosion resistance. It comes equipped with a Gemtech® ETM® Flash Hider and features a threaded barrel, ready for suppressor integration. The rifle incorporates fully ambidextrous controls, including the bolt release, magazine catch, and manual thumb safety, ensuring seamless operation for both right and left-handed shooters. Key components include a 13.375-inch Midwest Industries Combat M-LOK® Free-Float seven-sided handguard, Radian® Raptor charging handle, Williams folding adjustable front and rear sights, flat-face trigger, Magpul® CTR® adjustable stock, and an M&P® grip with four interchangeable backstraps for a secure and customizable fit.
