The Yankee Hill Machine Co YHM 30 CAL QD Mount for the M14 Rifle is designed to replace your standard flash hider and sight assembly with quick detach capabilities. This mount allows you to easily remove and reinstall your stock sight post onto our mount, providing a seamless integration with your rifle’s barrel. It is specifically used in conjunction with their Resonator and Phantom .30 Caliber Quick Detach Sound Suppressors, retaining the excellent flash hiding capabilities of the original Phantom design. However, it should be noted that this flash hider will not accommodate their 5.56 QD Sound Suppressor models. The sight base is compatible with most M14 rifle configurations but does not fit models with barrels shorter than 18.5 inches. For optimal performance and safety, the devices should be torqued to between 20 and 30 Ft-lbs.
